• A web-based facility for viewing and downloading NJR statistics for English and Welsh independent healthcare providers, NHS hospitals and treatment centres

• Accessible by everyone• Shows how much data hospitals and treatment

centres have submitted to the NJR since the 1st April 2003.

• The statistics are based on the operation date. • Data at the hospital level is supplied by both

operation date and the date the operation record was submitted to the NJR database.

Reports Online

• Provides information to surgeons, hospital data managers and suppliers on case totals, case mix and implant usage

• Offers the opportunity to view and download detailed and summarised reports on:– the procedures performed – implant usage – patients (currently available to surgeons only).

• Accessed via the data entry page

• Consultants must give permission for their data to be seen by the HDM – This will change with the next database upgrade

• Consultants & surgeons can view and download reports on procedures performed/patient details

How To UseReports Online

(1) Enter your date range

(2) Choose the report you want to run

(3) Click “show report”

• Remember :-

If a Surgeon has not sent the NJR a signed Change of Permission form giving consent for the HDM to see their data, apart from Procedure Casemix & Brand usage, none of their information will appear in any reports.

How to save the reports

With the report displayed on screen, click ‘This data is available to download as a CSV file’.

• A ‘File Download’ window will appear where you are given the choice to Open or Save the CSV file.

• Opening the CSV file will display your data on screen in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet which can then be saved to a file location of your choice.

• If you choose the Save option, a ‘Save As’ window will appear which allows you to save the file to a location of your choice. The saved file can then be opened and viewed as Microsoft Excel spreadsheet

• In conclusion:-

• Everything you enter for your hospital can be accessed.

• Surgeons can access their own information, including patient details.

• Results can be saved to use as you wish.
