PENGEMBANGAN PUSAT PENDIDIKAN LINGKUNGAN

HIDUP DI SELOLIMAN, TRAWAS, KABUPATEN

MOJOKERTO

Abstrak

Pusat Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup (PPLH) di Seloliman, berupaya membangun

program atau wadah yang baik dan ideal untuk mendapatkan ilmu pengetahuan

dan berbagai norma serta etika yang dapat menjadi dasar manusia menuju

terciptanya kesejahteraan hidup untuk cita-cita pembangunan berkelanjutan. Pusat

Pendidikan Lingkungan Hidup yang terletak di Dusun Biting RT.05/RW.03, Desa

Seloliman, Trawas, Mojokerto, Jawa Timur. Berbagai objek wisata yang

dikembangkan adalah potensi wisata alam melalui program pendidikan informal.

Berdasarkan penelitian kwalitatif yang berbasis observasi dilapangan dan

penerapan analisa dari kondisi saat ini di PPLH Seloliman masih kurang adanya

perhatian dari segi kebutuhan kapasitas ruang, seperti: kamar untuk penginapan,

laboratorium, green house, Rumah Kompos, depo tanaman pertanian dan lain

sebagainya, untuk segi konsep arsitektural massa bangunan PPLH sendiri masih

terbilang jauh dari alami yaitu; untuk penerapan bahan material yang digunakan,

serta dari segi desain pun kurang selaras alam dikarenakan keterbatasan dana.

Dimana PPLH Seloliman menjadi salah satu tujuan destinasi objek wisata

internasional. Wisata yang ditawarkan oleh PPLH Seloliman, yakni: Program

pendidikan ekowisata, Program pertanian organik, Program sumberdaya dan

program usaha. Dengan banyaknya program pendidikan yang ditawarkan

sehingga menarik lebih banyak pengunjung yang datang hampir 20% setiap

tahunnya, dengan seiringnya waktu kebutuhan kapasitas ruang yang sudah ada di

PPLH Seloliman semakin kurang memadai. Dari grafik pengunjung yang datang

di PPLH Seloliman pada tahun 2016 dengan kisaran 18.000 orang dengan

berbagai kepentingan. Dengan melalui pengembangan pertambahan kebutuhan

ruang kapasitas serta didukung desain-desain konsep arsitektural yang lebih

mengarah ke alami.

Abstract

Center for Environmental Education (PPLH) in Seloliman, strives to build a good

and ideal program or container to gain knowledge and norms and ethics that can

be the foundation of humankind towards the creation of a living welfare for the

ideals of sustainable development. Environmental Education Center located in

Hamlet Biting RT.05 / RW.03, Seloliman Village, Trawas, Mojokerto, East Java.

Various tourist objects that are developed is the potential of nature tourism

through informal education programs. Based on qualitative research based on

field observation and application of analysis condition in PPLH Seloliman is still

lack of attention in terms of space capacity requirement, such as: rooms for

lodging, laboratory, green house, compost house, agriculture depo and so on, the

mass of PPLH building itself is still somewhat far from natural that is; for the

application of materials used, and in terms of design was less harmonious nature

due to limited funds. Where PPLH Seloliman also become one of the destinations

of international tourist destinations. Tour offered by PPLH Seloliman, namely:

ecotourism education program, organic farming program, resource program and

business program. With the number of educational programs offered to attract

more visitors who come almost 20% every year, with over time the space capacity

requirement that already exist in PPLH Seloliman getting less adequate. From the

graph of visitors arriving at PPLH Seloliman in 2016 with a range of 18,000

people with various interests. With the development of increasing capacity space

needs and architectural design concept that is more natural.

Dengan rasa Puji dan syukur kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa atas kasih karunia,

rahmat sehingga penulis dapat menyelesaikan laporan tugas akhir yang berjudul

PENGEMBANGAN PUSAT PENDIDIKAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP DI

SELOLIMAN, TRAWAS, KABUPATEN MOJOKERTO tepat pada waktunya.

Laporan tugas ini disusun dengan tujuan untuk mencapai jenjang Strata 1 pada

Program Studi Arsitektur, Fakultas Teknik Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya.

Rasa Terimakasih yang setulus-tulusnya kepada kedua orang tua yang

mendo’akan memberi semangat, mendukung secara moril maupun materil. Selain
