TUESDAY 7 Pray for the construction crew as they begin construc- tion on an addition to a home in Benderi (a suburb of Tiraspol). The new addition will allow the family to care for three more orphans. Pray for the team as they begin a program for the children at the Daily Centera government-run day care. Pray for Carrie and Dani as they lead a meeting for women. Pray that the Holy Spirit is present and the women are filled with joy during this time of fellow- ship. SUNDAY 5 Today our team travels from Cleveland to Newark to Munich. We rely on your intercessory prayers through- out the trip. Please pray that our travel is safe, without incident, restful and on time. Pray our luggage arrives with us in Moldova. Ask the Lord to open doors of wit- ness along the way. MONDAY 6 Today we leave Munich airport and arrive in Kishinev, the capital of Moldova. Then we travel by car to Ti- raspol, the capital of Transnistria. Pray we have no diffi- culties crossing the border and that the problems in Ukraine do not spread to this area. The team will tour Tiraspol and have a brief orientation this evening before beginning our work tomorrow. We ask for health, strength and adjustment to the difference in time (7 hours ahead of EST). FRIDAY This morning we will dedicate the new addition to the home in Benderi. We pray that God will bless this family as they open their home and hearts to care for orphans. We will visit Merenesti to distribute prizes to the chil- dren and say good-byes. We leave this afternoon for Kishinev airport. We will fly to Vienna, Austria, where we will spend the night. Moldova is about the size of Vermont or New Hampshire and has a population between five and six million people. It lies on the same latitude as Cleveland, Buffalo and To- ronto, with weather similar to Ohio. The capital, Chisinau [also spelled Kishinev], is a city of 850,000 people. Three languages are spoken in Moldova: Romanian, Rus- sian and Moldovan. 98% of Moldovans are Eastern Orthodox Christians. There are small populations of Jews, Evangelical Protestants, and Roman Catholics. The practice of religion was repressed during the Soviet era, but the people are now rebuilding their churches, attending services, and celebrating reli- gious holidays. Religious devotion is rising, and religion is expected to play a greater role in the society’s future. Transnistria is a landlocked independent province of Moldova. There are 537,000 inhabitants, and the capital of the region is Tiraspol. Less than 1% of the population con- sists of evangelical believers. THURSDAY 9

Pray for both the construction crew and the rest of the team who will again be leading a program and inter-acting with the children at the Daily Center.

Pray for Carrie and Dani as they host a women’s minis-try meeting this evening.

Pray for the construction crew that they would be making good progress on the addition.

Today is our last day with the children at the Daily Center. Pray the children will feel loved and recognize their value in God’s eyes.

The team will head to Grigoriopol where we will visit a small orphanage for little children. We will then go meet with Olga, the director of “Children of the Street” feeding program. Pray for us as we present programs to the children in both locations. Tonight we visit the Help the Children Transitional Care Camp where we will have an opportunity to interact with the teens and share a devotional time with them around a campfire.

FRIDAY 10

SATURDAY

Work continues at the construction site.

Tonight we will be helping host a Camp Party for the HTC Transitional Care students.

SUNDAY 12

MONDAY

Pray for the construction team as they continue their work in Benderi. Pray that the interactions they have with the family would bring encouragement and joy.

Today we will begin assisting with a children’s pro-gram at a camp in Merenesti for kids from the Parkani Orphanage. Pray for an openness among the staff for us to be able to share the gospel and that the Children will understand the message we are presenting.

We will start working with students from the leader-ship team of New Life Moldova today as they train their leaders through hands-on street evangelism.

Tonight our team will begin working with New Life Moldova, leading English Clubs for college-age stu-dents. Pray that many students participate, that our conversations are helpful and that we would have the opportunity to clearly share the gospel.

TUESDAY

Pray for the construction crew that they would be rested and have the strength to continue their work in Benderi.

Pray as we continue to work with the kids in Merenesti, that they will be filled with joy and an understanding of Jesus.

Pray as we work again today doing street evangelism with the New Life Moldova students. Pray the gospel is clearly communicated and that all will understand.

Pray for the team as we continue our work with the English Clubs. Pray that the students will have an

WEDNESDAY

The construction team continues their work—pray they make much progress today.

Pray for our continued work at Merenesti. Pray that the camp directors, leaders and the children may see Christ.

Pray for our continued work in street evangelism with New Life Moldova (CRU) students. Pray many will receive Christ.

Pray for our team to have unique, interesting and fun ways to reveal Christ at the English Clubs. Pray the Holy Spirit is our “Translator” and convicts lost stu-dents about their need for Jesus.

THURSDAY

Today is our last full day in Tiraspol. Pray that our time here will continue to have effect and be an en-couragement to the believers as they continue the work. Pray that God’s love and grace produces life-changing results.

WEDNESDAY 8Pray for good weather and good communication for the construction crew as they continue their work on the addition in Benderi.

Pray that as the team continues the program at the Daily Center, the children would be excited and that we would clearly share the gospel.

Tonight we will meet with the Help the Children staff. Pray that we will have wisdom to share and encourage them in the work they are accomplishing.

We will worship with a local church in Tiraspol today. Pray that the churches would teach God’s word faith-fully and that the believers would be strengthened.

This afternoon the team will work with a community children’s program in Tiraspol.

Tonight our team will divide and meet with various house churches throughout Tiraspol. Pray we could encourage them and enjoy fellowship with them.
