In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real life products?

My target audience based on the research and planning are people that like R&B and pop music. This age group will generally be targeted at older teenagers both male and female.

Target Audience

My double page spread

This is my double page spread for the music magazine. The title of this article is on the left hand side of the spread were it can be clearly on the left hand side. It also has a blue background so it can make the title stand out. I have used to large images on both side of the page spread for background purposes. I have used three images on part of the spread to showcase who is being interviewed. I have also used a bold text which can clearly been seen. The page numbers have been put in the bottom corner of the double page spread so the reader can look at the page number.

My contents pageThis is my double page spread. I have included a both titles to indicate were the reader is at. I have put a combination of 5 images on my contents page to show a variety. There are both male and female models as well as probs.

Front coverThis is my front cover. I have kept with the house style that I said I would as the main colours are made up of blues, whites and blacks. I have included music stars that represent what the type of music is about. The headlines I have been put onto the front cover can be clearly seen and have blue boarders underneath them as this will make them stand out. The bar code and the price have been put on the corner. I have also included a website that is put in the bottom half of the page in case the readers wanted to go on a website.
