• The people who would use this app would be suffering from an allergy which stops them from eating certain foods.

• In the settings menu you will select your allergy and then type in the name of the product or scan the barcode and it will tell you whether or not you can eat it based on the allergy you have selected.

• This app will be used when you are in the shop and you see a product you want to buy and you want to quickly check whether or not you can eat it without having to read all the product info on the back or in case it doesn’t have any info about allergies.

Products don’t usually contain all the necessary info to

know whether or not you can eat it because of your allergy and it can be dangerous and even fatal if you eat

something you are seriously allergic to. The Allergy app solves this problem by quickly telling you whether or not

you can eat the product based on your allergy and the information in the app’s database.

Our app is aimed at mothers with children who have

allergies who do not have the time to check every product’s ingredients for allergens.

Competitors include:Find Me Gluten Free-avg rating 4.5 stars

This doesn’t solve the problem as it is aimed at only one type of allergy.

Our apps core feature is the barcode scanner. This is a camera that

cross references barcodes in the image taken with our apps database of products. When people viewed our mockup for this screen they

found it user friendly and simple

Our marketing strategy is small banner adverts in other apps like flappy bird.

Another one is to use a social media page to supply information and our final one is to use social media adverts
