Honors, Dual Credit, & AP Courses

AP is a nationally recognized program by the CollegeBoard. These courses provide college level instruction in several areas that

prepare students for coursework they’ll be exposed to in college. Each May, students will take the corresponding AP exam that is written, administered and graded by the College Board. The score on this exam will not affect a student’s grade in the

course. AP exams are $94 each that is required to be paid for by the date

of the exam. Students who are on free or reduced lunch are eligible for a fee waiver to test at the cost of $23.

We do work with families to split the AP Exam cost into payments. Students who do not pay for and/or take the AP exam,

will not have quality points added to their semester averages. Students with a significant financial need may be eligible for an

exam fee reduction.

We offer multiple elective focus programs. The order in which these students take these courses is

specific and it is important that students begin this sequence of courses during the 9th grade.
