Build it and they will come. It’s a well-meaning sentiment. But when it comes to running your own business, it misses the
mark a bit.
As you already know, you simply can’t just set up shop and cross your fingers that people find you. Instead, being a
successful business owner means constantly marketing and promoting your business in hopes of getting more eyeballs on
your product or bodies through the door.
But, the words “marketing plan” are enough to send shivers down anyone’s spine. It sounds overly technical and completely
daunting, doesn’t it? However, I assure you, it isn’t as intimidating as you might think it is—and you definitely don’t need to
have a degree in marketing in order to figure it out.
