2. Your three ring binder should be kept neat and organized as follows:(a) The looseleaf notebook paper should be divided into the following categories: Notes, Homework,
Quizzes, Tests and Other.(b) Notes are to be dated and page numbered.(c) All returned papers are to be filed in order.(d) Please have plenty of extra paper in your notebook.
Parents sign somewhere in your binder.

HOMEWOEK GUIDELINES For Mr. Haskell’s
Math Classes
If you do the following, you will earn a 5 out of 5 on your homework each night. Your homework grade is 15% of your overall grade. This is an effort grade! If you do not follow these guidelines, then you cannot earn full credit. If you come to class without your homework complete, you must put your name on the Homework Log. (Make the walk of shame!) Your first two homework assignments of the year are freebees and automatically earn you a 5 out of 5 as long as you did the assignment. After that, the following criteria will be followed carefully.
• Do homework in pencil before the start of class.
• Work together but NEVER copy. That is cheating.
• Please put your name, assignment number, and class (section) at the top.
• One problem per line. Leave space to the right of each problem for work for that problem.
• Try all problems using the full time allotted for each night.
• Correct all odd problems at home using the back of the book.
• Skip a space between problems
• Write original problem, draw diagrams and what is being asked of you.
• Show all work
• Correct ALL problems that we go over in pen. If they are correct then mark them as such. If they are incorrect, then fix all
errors so you understand the error made and the correction!
• Ask questions about all homework issues either in class or come see me for extra help.
• Don’t ever make the “walk of shame”!!!!
o Fill in log.
o Come to recess to complete assignment.
o Call to the parents is a distinct possibility!
