20th Century fox was found on 31st May 1931. This film distributor company does not only distribute films which have

become commercially successful but also commercially successful television series like The Simpsons, Family guy and Glee.

Rio 2Production – After the movie got a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Original Song, the music composer told in an interview that the film would be likely to have a sequel and which the director Carlos Saldanha is planning to release in 2014 – few months before the world cup which is being held in Brazil. A spokesperson from 20th century fox said the studio are interested into making Rio into a franchise.

"I think the plan is for the movie to come three or four months before the World Cup. Fox has been talking about (it) and it looks like it's going to happen. 20th Century Fox and Blue Sky unveiled the first teaser trailer at the annual Las Vegas, Nevada CinemaCon on April 18, 2013.On May 14, 2013, that same trailer was released online worldwide, and attached with Epic.

Distribution is still in progress however there is one distribution for the audience. The official theatrical trailer has been released. 20th entury fox are the distributors of this film which will b released in April 2014.
