G-E-T Awarded Grant from WREA The Wisconsin Retired Educators' Association awarded Tech Ed Teachers Aaron Ottum and Lance Walker and Business Manager/Grant Writer Matt Wenthe with a grant for $2000 to be used to purchase CNC Simulators and software.

Last year, working collaboratively with area businesses and through other grants, the school purchased a computer numeric controlled (CNC) lathe similar to those used in the work force so students can learn the specific skills that employers are desperately seeking in technical careers.

This new grant allows us to purchase addition simulators to practice on so students can practice before using the actual lathe. It also enables more students to be actively engaged in relevant activities at the same time.

GET was one of 4 winners in the state. Unfortunately, the recognition banquet was cancelled. CNC Simulator Purchased with WREA Grant
