UFO Researcher/Investigator ThomasJ. Carey, a native Philadelphian, holdsdegrees from Temple University (B.S. inBusiness Administration) and CaliforniaState University, Sacramento (M.A.in Anthropology), and also attendedthe University of Toronto in its Ph.D.Programme in Anthropology. State Section Director for Southeastern Pennsylvania from 1986 to2001, a Special Investigator for the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFOStudies [CUFOS] from 1991 to 2001, and a member of the CUFOSboard of directors from 1997 to 2001. Tom began investigatingaspects of the Roswell Incident in 1991 for the Roswell investigativeteam of Kevin Randle and Don Schmitt, and since 1998 has teamedexclusively with Don Schmitt to continue a proactive investigation ofthe case. Tom has authored or coauthored more than 40 publishedarticles about the Roswell events of 1947, and has contributed toa number of books on the subject as well. He has appeared as aguest on many radio and TV shows throughout the country, includingCoast to Coast AM with Art Bell and George Noory, Fox and Friends,Comcast Network Friends and Larry King Live! and has contributed toa number of Roswell-related documentaries - on-screen and behindthe scenes. Kim CarlsbergKim Carlsberg is a graduate of the “Art

Stanton T. FriedmanNuclear Physicist-Author-Lecture

Stanton T. Friedman received his BScand MSc. Degrees in physics from theUniversity of Chicago in 1955 and 1956He was employed for 14 years as anuclear physicist by such companiesas GE, GM, Westinghouse, TRWSystems, Aerojet General Nucleonicsand McDonnell-Douglas Astronauticsworking in such highly advancedclassied, eventually cancelled programs

as nuclear aircraft, ssion and fusion rockets, and various compacnuclear power-plants for space and terrestrial applications.

He became interested in UFOs in 1958, and since 1967 has

Captain Ken HudnallCaptain Ken Hudnall, was an instructor

Frank KimblerFrank Kimbler is an Assistant Professo

of the Earth Science at the New MexicoMilitary Institute. He is a relatively newresearcher in the eld of UFO studiesbut has made some interesting physicatrace discoveries related to the 1947

Roswell event. He has worked as aprofessional geologist for more than 30years and has taught school for almos1/2 of that time. He has worked as anoceanographer for the National Oceanicand Atmospheric Administration and

as a mining engineer for the State of Arizona. He moved to NewMexico in 2009 after accepting a teaching position at the NewMexico Military Institute in Roswell. Shortly after moving to Roswelhe took a keen interest in the story behind the Roswell UFO incidentHis research has resulted in the discovery of a number of physicaartifacts from the Roswell UFO debris eld area including metallicfragments, plastic, 1940’s military metal buttons, a 50-caliber bulle(WW2 era ?) and aerial photographic evidence of disturbed groundin and around the debris eld. His research has been featured on a

number of Internet talk shows and several National Geographic TVprograms about UFO’s. He does not like secrets and is dedicated todiscovering answers and using good science.

Sharon KingSharon King has been an early

childhood Teacher, Program Coordinato& a Director in child care centers for ove26 years. She has always liked doingarts and crafts and working with childrenOver the years she has made many funactivities to share with children. Hebook Junior Alien Zone is a fun andinteresting arts and crafts, and activitybook about Aliens which can be usedin many different ways. Sharon nevethought she would write a children book

and then it happened. In the summer of 2004, she and her husbandtook their niece and family on vacation to Roswell, NM. While theywere there, they learned about the UFO Festival held every JulySharon had so many ideas, she started to write them all down andthe rest is history…a book was born. Thirty three days after JunioAlien Zone was published, she had her rst book signing. Jesse Marcel Jr.Jesse Marcel Jr. joined the US Navy

in 1962 and was assigned to the USSRenville (APA 227) and shortly thereafterparticipated in the Cuban Missile Crisisattached to combat units as member ofship’s company. The Renville then sailedfor West Pac and then to the South EastPacic Area where he participated incombat training in case of enemy attackon the ship. After the West Pac tour,Jessie completed his specialty training in

Otolaryngology at the Naval Hospital, San Diego, California. He thenretired from the Navy in July of 1971 and entered private practice inHelena, Montana. Jessie joined the Montana Army National Guardin 1973, went through helicopter ight training as a ight surgeon atFt. Rucker, Alabama earning his wings in 1981. During his career

in the National Guard, Jessie was appointed State Surgeon of theState of Montana and retired from the military the second time inAugust of 1996 on his 60th birthday. The Iraqi war required his beingcalled back to active duty in October of 2004 shortly after his 68thbirthday. Jesse then served as a ight surgeon for the 189th AttackHelicopter Battalion ying 225 hrs of combat while in country beingdischarged again from active duty in December of 2005 to the ReadyReserve.

Pre-med undergraduate work was accomplished at Louisiana StateUniversity, Baton Rouge, Louisiana and he attended LSU School ofMedicine at New Orleans, Louisiana graduating July of 1961 earninga degree in medicine. Jessie then completed a rotating internship atthe Charity Hospital, New Orleans, Louisiana.

The historic UFO case of theReed Family, was assigned a Valleeclassication of “CE4” (close encounteof the 4th kind), with a Case Category

of 3 (physical evidence). The case has many layers and is deeplyentwined and remains one of a few CE4 cases to be mentioned

within the walls of the United Nations. The history involves MarianBurrows, grandmother, Nancy Reed, mother, and the two brothersThom and Matthew. The evidence in this case would include asignicant amount of radiation, and strong magnetic elds, and isone of a few to have been collected and documented by those in lawenforcement.

The Reed encounters date back to June of 1954, with Marianand Nancy, while in a cabin at Moosehead Lake, Maine. The boysThom and Matthew had their rst encounter, in September of 1966while on their horse farm in Shefeld, Massachusetts. The secondencounter on the Reed’s horse farm came the following year inthe fall of 1967. This encounter involved the entire family. Thefamily’s nal encounter, and one that would cause them to sell theihome and restaurant, the “Village Green”, and relocate, took placein September of 1969. Nancy, Marian, Thom and Matthew, were

driving home following a horse show, at about 8:00 at night, whenthey observed what Marian referred to as a bright “oating strip mallabove the left side of the station wagon. What can only be describedas some sort of energy running through the body was felt by thefamily before their car began to stall and coast to the right side ofthe road. Only the sounds of stones tapping under the fender wallsof their car were heard, followed by a dead silence. A barometricchange in pressure was felt before triggering a deafening eruptionof katydids and crickets. The family has collectively been able toreconstruct and piece together much of that night in September o1969 aboard the vessel. With that said, many have asked what thebeings looked like, that were seen by the Reeds, and there has beena lot of speculation on the terminology. The best way to describe whawas witnessed would be a genetically engineered or manufactured



intelligent insect-type being with some human characteristics, suchas hands, that would stand and vary from three to ve feet in height.

Several of Thom’s childhood sketches from 1969, depicting whathe witnessed rst-hand involving his encounters, are displayed at theRoswell UFO Museum. It should be noted that the crafts that landedon the Reed’s property were also seen by numerous members ofthe community and their children. Thom was not the only child todraw renderings, as many of the children penciled what they hadseen, which also hung next to Thom’s, beneath the chalk board inhis fourth grade classroom.

By the 1980’s, Thom’s father, Attorney Howard Reed, PhD, was

in local ofce and had met Attorney Robert Bletchman and severalothers with political ties and aspirations. On October 2, 1992, theReed’s case would assist their personal attorney’s efforts, (RobertBletchman) by adding credible and corroborated testimony, toinclude the Reeds’ statements on the barometric change in pressure,electromagnetic “vibe”, calming state, and the manipulation of gravity,which was voiced by Robert at the United Nations Symposium. Theobjective of the Symposium was to introduce substantiated casesto motivate the U.N. to reconsider 33/426. (33/426 references anestablishment of an agency or a dept. of the U. N. for undertaking,coordinating and disseminating the results of research intounidentied ying objects.). This came 10 days before NASA beganSETI’s Microwave Observing Project (MOP/HRMS).

Thomas comes from a grounded and well respected family in NewEngland, and is the son of Dr. Howard Reed, a college professor

and attorney, who also served the community on the Canaan Boardof Selectmen. Howard was also strongly supported by SenatorChristopher Dodd, in his run for ofce. In the fall of 2006, and soonafter voicing his upcoming book project on the family’s experienceswith vessels and other life forms, to include a compilation ofsensitive material gathered over the years as well as referencingmany of Robert Bletchman’s notes and research, Howard sufferedan untimely death on the same day, October 2nd, 14 years after theUnited Nations Symposium on October 2nd, 1992.The CDC, on sweeping Howard’s ofce, reported nding a vialcontaining the deadly virus in his air conditioning unit. The buildingwas closed and remains closed to this day. Oct. 6th was thenproclaimed a day of remembrance in Howard’s honor, by the Cityof Bridgeport, CT. A Ph.D. who released his test results regardingthe Reed case after evaluating family members, on September 15,

2010, was also found dead on November 12th, 2010, just eightweeks later.

enough: was mascot for her high schoolfootball team and that same year was
