back, Explorer holds an astounding 34 cubic feet of cargo. Want more? Just

push the button on the optional three way, power-slide sofa. As the seat

glides forward, you are met with 41 cubic feet of uninterrupted space.

Tucked into a custom compartment on the rear door is the compact,

12 volt air compressor. use it in an emergency or to inflate a floaty –

overall vehicle height still affords easy access through

8 ft. garage openings. parking lot maneuvering is made

Explorer puts you at ease and in control with features like

the in-dash information center and the computer wizardry of

stabiliTrak®. The fully integrated Driver Info center

continuously monitors and reports on fuel range, average

speed, average fuel economy, outside temperature, ice warning,

oil life, tire pressure and compass heading. You can personalize

your lock/unlock preferences, headlamp delay and more.

standard on all Explorer vans is stabiliTrak®. This ingenious

electronic stability control system adjusts your brake pressure

and engine torque, making instantaneous adjustments to

enhance your control and keep you on track.

High-contrast screens for the

back-up camera are located in

the rearview mirror or in the

dash for vehicles equipped with

the Gps Navigation system.

FLEXFuEL The available Vortec 5.3L* V8FlexFuel engine operates on either regularunleaded gasoline, E85 (a blend of ethanol andgasoline) or any combination of both. Becauseit is made from primarily organic, domesticresources, E85 can help reduce ourdependence on petroleum.
