1 STANDARD ADVANCED MULTISTAGE DRIVER AND FRONT-PASSENGER AIR BAGS* Standard

advanced multistage driver and front-passenger air bags provide nearly instantaneous

occupant protection by matching air bag output to crash severity.

2 STANDARD SUPPLEMENTAL SIDE-CURTAIN AIR BAGS* With roll-sensing technology, these bags

deploy from the headliner to provide three rows of side-impact protection to outboard occupants.

3 STANDARD ELECTRONIC STABILITY PROGRAM (ESP)† ESP assists drivers in maintaining control

of their vehicles during extreme steering maneuvers. ESP is equipped with Electronic Roll

Mitigation and Trailer Sway Control. The system detects “sway” unique to trailering and then

engages Durango’s brakes to slow the vehicle and trailer down, reduces engine torque, and then

increases the brake force to only one side of the vehicle to help counteract the sway from the trailer.

4 TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING WARNING LAMP/DISPLAY All Durango models include a Tire Pressure

Monitoring Warning Lamp that helps maintain proper and safe tire pressure by fl ashing a warning lamp

to alert driver to low-pressure situations. Durango Limited now features a Tire Pressure Monitoring

Display that provides actual tire pressure information on all four tires.

5 HYDROFORMED FRAME The front and rear sections of this frame are hydroformed to provide increased

stiffness and dimensional control contributing to Durango’s outstanding handling and smooth ride.

6 PARKVIEW® REAR BACK-UP CAMERA‡ An available camera on Durango’s liftgate displays a

rearview video image on the radio screen while driving in reverse. The benefi t is better rearward

visibility for the driver when backing up and the alert of potential obstacles.

5.7L HEMI® V8 WITH MDS Harness Durango’s 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with Multi-Displacement System (MDS) and unleash 335 horsepower, 370 lb-ft of torque and the most towing capacity in its class* — 8,950 lb.The catalyst for numbers this potent is the surge of airfl ow that races through uniquely designed hemispherical-shaped combustion chambers.

MULTI-DISPLACEMENT SYSTEM (MDS) An exercise in brilliant efficiency. When cruising at highway speeds, Durango’s HEMI engine employs the fuel-saving† benefi ts of MDS. The advanced computer technology works in conjunction with the Electronic Throttle Control components. This union allows the HEMI engine to seamlessly transform V8 power into an effi cient four-cylinder power plant in a mere 40 milliseconds (0.04 seconds), which bolsters Durango’s fuel economy.

NEW 4.7-LITER FLEX FUEL V8 Durango offers a new E85 (ethanol)-compatible 4.7-liter V8 engine with more horsepower (303 hp) and more torque (330 lb-ft) than the previous engine. This engine uses E85, regular gas or a combination of both. E85 is an alternative fuel blend that is comprised of 85% ethanol and 15% petroleum. The benefi t is less drain on nonrenewable energy sources and a positive economic impact on corn farmers.

3.7-LITER MAGNUM® V6 This fuel-effi cient V6 engine is capable of pumping out 210 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm.

AVAILABLE FULL-TIME ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE SYSTEM Durango 4x4 models feature a dash-mounted switch. Simply set the dial to AWD for everyday driving. Switch it to 4LOCK only on slippery or uneven roads.
