TIS has developed a network of urban data centers under a concept of providing facilities with high reliability and availability and added value as well as due consideration to environmental technologies and local community contribution. Our showcase facility is gDC Gotenyama, with the industry’s highest level of environmental performance and the latest features. Our data centers lead the industry in Japan in terms of scale—total area exceeding 100,000m2 —and service domains. The network comprises 10 locations in Japan and overseas, each organically linked to the others, and through this network we are able to solidly support clients’ use of IT, from network services, system monitoring and cloud services to various operation services.

To create more advanced services, we identify latent client needs and promote development of services a step ahead of potential demand. Toward this end, we applied “PhoneCookie”, a proprietary technology, to a service called Call Crayon, which effectively links a variety of information obtained online and over the phone and uses it to generate new business value. We also devised Goodeal!, a CLO (Card Linked Offer) platform service that facilitates more effective marketing activities based on credit card usage history.
