Nature of work• They assist veterinarians in providing care for all of the
animals.• They perform procedures.• They have to be familiar with laboratory equipment.• They have to record an animals history.• They work in private practice.
Education and training• They have to complete a two year program.• They have to have clinical and laboratory experience.• Once you earn your degree, you have to have a credentialing exam.• They must obtain certification by the American Association for
Laboratory Animal Science.• once they pass they must become registered, licensed, or certified,
depending on the state regulations.
Other qualifications • study all about medicines
• study different parts of different animals
• you need to know exactly what to do in case its a matter of life or death.
