AUCTION FORMAT

General Auction Item Requirements

Five (5) items total› Three (3) Balloon prizes worth at least $25

each

› Two (2) high-value items worth at least $75 each

Balloon Prize Requirements Three (3) Balloon Prizes What is a balloon prize?

› Item valued from $25 to $50› People buy a balloon with a ticket

inside › They pop the balloon and collect the ticket› Ticket corresponds to a prize

One item worth $250 may also satisfy this requirement

When to Begin Soliciting and Collecting Donations

Holiday break is an excellent time to approach donors.

Approach businesses early! The earlier you get out there, the

better!
